Missing Brit Aslan King found dead in #Australian creek after vanishing into bushland.
The 25-year-old was camping with his friends in Princetown, Victoria, when he vanished.
Mr King suffered a seizure and ran into a bushland at around 2am on Saturday local time (3pm on Friday GMT) after he banged his head while drunk.
His body was found around a kilometre away from where he was last seen.
The young man was from Brighton but was visiting Australia with his friends.
Victoria Police said: “Police have located the body of a man following the search for missing tourist Aslan King in the Princetown area.
“Officers are yet to formally identify the body; however, it is believed to be Aslan King who was last seen at a camping ground on Old Coach Road about 2am on 23 November.
“The body was located about 10.15am this morning in a creek just over a kilometre from the camping ground where Aslan was last seen.
“Investigators will prepare a report for the coroner.”
Police in Victoria used a helicopter, horses, motorcycles and sniffer dogs in the search.
A radius of 300 metres around the campsite was concentrated by police.
Authorities said the search was difficult because of the thick vegetation, rocky clifftops and deep coastal waters in the region.
Mr King is believed to have hit his head on the ground at the campsite.
He then got up quickly and rushed into the thick bushland.
The 25-year-old illustrator arrived in Australia two weeks ago.
He was camping with four of his friends when he vanished.
